Tara Martin is an educator, author, and leadership strategist with experience spanning classroom teaching, instructional coaching, district leadership, and national publishing.
She spent years in the classroom and in district leadership supporting teachers and curriculum implementation, giving her a deep understanding of the instructional realities educators face every day. Through her work as a teacher, instructional coach, and district administrator, Tara partnered with educators to implement curriculum and instructional strategies that improve student learning.
Tara is the author of Be REAL: Educate from the Heart and Cannonball In, and the founder of #BookSnaps—a globally implemented literacy strategy now used in seventeen countries.
During her eight-year tenure with Dave Burgess Consulting, including serving as Director of Publishing, she coached and developed authors and educational leaders while guiding strategic vision, positioning, and program development for nationally recognized education initiatives.
Tara believes strong organizations are built by developing people at every level. Her work focuses on strengthening systems while keeping humanity at the center—building cultures where accountability and belonging coexist.
Above all, she is the proud mother of an adult son—an identity that continues to shape her leadership, resilience, and belief in lifelong growth.
