Come explore the phases of the Launch Cycle as our pilot class shares how they integrated design thinking within the ELA block. Why Design Thinking within ELA? Why not? Who wouldn’t want to enhance learning while keeping student curiosity and creativity at the core? 

Ideas stem from the Launch book by AJ Juliani and John Spencer.

We will:

• Share an awareness of the phases of the Launch Cycle–a framework for design thinking within the curriculum
• Investigate how the Launch Cycle might fit within individual classroom settings
• Provide a transparent lens of the Launch Cycle process in action, with students
• Collaborate and generate ideas for how the Launch Cycle might enhance our students 21st Century Skills
